The Visionary Founder
Eng. Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed Alzakary
Founder of the Group
His Excellency Engineer Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed Al-Zakary, founder of Al-Zakary Holding Group, possesses over forty-five years of practical experience in investment, real estate development, engineering, and project management, making him a pivotal figure in Saudi Arabia’s economic and social landscape. From the start of his career, he was known for a balanced vision that combines ambitious investment goals with a strong sense of national responsibility, contributing to the establishment of several major economic entities that have supported sustainable development in the Kingdom.
Engineer Abdulmohsen holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from King Saud University, earned in 1982. Growing up in an inspiring cultural environment shaped his developmental and humanitarian vision, instilling in him the belief that the role of business leaders extends beyond investment to include contributing to the growth of people and society. He served three terms as a member of the Saudi Shura Council and was a member of the Riyadh Regional Council, actively contributing to the development of national legislation and supporting policies that enhance economic and social performance. He was also a member of the Endowments Advisory Committee, a board member of the Children with Disabilities Association where he chaired the Investment Committee, as well as a member and Investment Committee Chairman of King Abdulaziz Endowment “Ain Al-Aziziyah,” and chairman of the Investment Committee of the Social Charity Fund.
In addition, Engineer Abdulmohsen played a key role in founding several public and closed joint-stock companies, including Riyadh Development Company, Al-Andalus Real Estate Company, Al-Ahlia Insurance Company, Daman Capital Partners Real Estate in Dubai, and Durrat Arriyadh Real Estate Development Company. He held several prominent executive positions, shaping his extensive experience in managing major institutions. Among these roles, he served as Executive Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Founding Committee of Riyadh Development Company, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Tabuk Cement Company, and Chairman of the Boards of Al-Manakhah Real Estate Development Company and Daman Projects Real Estate Company. He also served on multiple boards of public and private companies and committees, was a founding member of Al-Jazirah Printing & Publishing, and a member of the National Investment Committee at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Engineer Abdulmohsen Al-Zakary is widely recognized for his enduring passion for institutional development and for building partnerships that drive growth. His career reflects a combination of economic leadership and sustainable social vision, marked by active participation in numerous government and semi-government development and social organizations, driven by the belief that national progress is achieved through continuous contribution and responsibility toward society and people.
Message from the Chairman
Since its unification and founding by King Abdulaziz – may Allah rest his soul –, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has witnessed remarkable growth and prosperity, a journey that continues under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may Allah preserve them. The late 1970s and early 1980s marked an unprecedented encouragement for the Saudi private sector to play an active role in national development through participation in the establishment of public, private, and non-profit entities. In recognition of this national duty, Alzakary Holding was founded in 1980. Today, as the Kingdom undergoes a historic economic transformation under Vision 2030, Alzakary Holding continues to diversify its investments and expand its presence across multiple sectors — including real estate, engineering consultancy, healthcare, financial services, and venture capital. The company proudly continues its journey of excellence, contributing to the national economy through high-value, diversified investments, while constantly improving its policies, methodologies, and resources to maintain sustainable success. Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulmohsen Alzakary
Board Member of Public and Private Companies
Mr. Mohammed serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, as well as the Chairman of the Investment Committee at Al-Zakary Holding. He is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Meaeyar Financial Company. In addition, he sits on the boards of several public and private companies, including Jezal Projects for Real Estate Development and Investment. He has also founded and served on the boards of multiple real estate funds, such as the Al-Rajhi Financial Opportunities Real Estate Fund and the Muscat Eskan Financial Fund, where his expertise has contributed to shaping their growth and investment strategies. Mr. Mohammed holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Prince Sultan University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne in the United States. He is regarded as one of the distinguished national leaders, combining strong executive and financial experience with solid academic grounding and a modern managerial vision.
Eng. Faisal bin Abdulmohsen Alzakary
Leads Development Strategies within the Group
Engineer Faisal is recognized as one of the key development leaders within Al-Zakary Holding Group. He played a central role in establishing Daman Projects Real Estate Company and currently serves as its Managing Director, leading its trajectory toward significant growth and strategic expansion that has strengthened its position in the real estate sector. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Architectural Group Consulting Engineers, in addition to his membership on the boards of several public and private companies and committees, including Al-Andalus Real Estate Company, Al-Hayat Real Estate Company, and Al-Zakary Holding Company, where he chairs the Nominations and Remuneration Committee and is also a member of the Investment Committee. He additionally oversees the Endowments of Engineer Abdulmohsen Al-Zakary. Engineer Faisal holds a master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University in New York, and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Woodbury University in Los Angeles. He brings extensive practical experience in investment, real estate development, and property management, alongside expertise in architecture, project management, and executive and operational leadership. His career reflects a blend of strong capability, hands-on knowledge, and an ambitious forward-looking vision.
Mr. Ziad bin Abdulmohsen Alzakary
Managing Partner
He serves as the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Azm Investment, where he leads the development of innovative investment strategies and oversees the effective management and valuation of assets and companies. He is also a Board Member and a member of the Investment Committee at Al-Zakary Holding, in addition to his roles on several other corporate boards and committees, including the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Daman Projects Real Estate Company. He additionally supervises the assessment of alternative investment opportunities and the exploration of new markets within the group. He is known for his passion for bold investments, portfolio diversification, and expanding asset classes to achieve sustainable growth. Mr. Ziyad holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Alfaisal University.
